Before all this, I spent 4 years as a middle school band and choir director. I loved helping kids find their voice and feel proud of what they created. Turns out that's not so different from what I do now, just with brands instead of preteens and teenagers.

After teaching, I started an Etsy shop, and that's really where my social media journey began, even though I didn't know it yet. Not long after, a friend asked me to help grow his BookTube channel, and then I was given the chance to run the socials for The Backline.

Somewhere in there, it clicked: I wasn't just posting for fun anymore, I was doing a pretty good job at this, and I loved it.​ These days I get to combine everything I've picked up along the way-strategy, design, photos, video-to help other Nashville businesses feel alittle less overwhelmed by social media and a lot more confident in how they show up.
